Description: Bio-plastic made of 25% to 100% bio-based content, made from waste streams of food production, mainly sugars and vegetable oils. The material can be steered to degrade between 1-10 years, depending on the desired application and environment. Characterised by the same level of strength and durability as traditional plastics, while being biodegradable, it is used in the manufacture of fabrics, yarns and articles as a substitute for common polyamides.
