Description: Polyamides. Family of thermoplastics commonly called Nylon. The second raw material is mainly obtained from the recycling of processing scraps and production wastes (post-industrial) and vehicles components and accessories, furnitures and other durable goods (post-consumer). The recycling of polyamides requires antioxidant stabilizers and drying cycles. Often the post-industrial recovered material is mixed with virgin PA or additived with glass fibre to improve its quality. Degradation processes may occours during PA recycling due to high temperatures and mechanical stresses.
