EUCLID is a tool that measures the circularity of materials and products with the objective of mentoring, support and circular design culture for SMEs, as a first approach towards the implementation of the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR).
EUCLID measures the circularity of materials and products through a five-stage quality process:
– Input
– Use
– End of life
– Production process
– Product performance.
During the measurement process, supporting and in-depth information is provided to help companies learn and acquire know-how about the different aspects of circular design.
After the application of the qualitative process with EUCLID, companies have the opportunity to apply a quantitative measurement process with CircularTool.
