Bio-rubber obtained from guayule
Bio-rubber obtained from guayule, a hearty desert shrub native to the southwestern United States, by an aqueous extraction process that generates an emulsion. It is used for replacing natural rubber as well as petroleum-based synthetics, for most traditional rubber application, including those that involve direct contact with the skin and prolonged exposure.
