Material made of 100% post-consumer recycled PET, it is biodegradable. Its fibres have been optimised to be more attractive to naturally occurring microbes, so as to allow accelerated biodegradation under certain environmental conditions. This allows the material to return to the natural elements: CO2, methane gas, water and biomass. After chemical recycling the fibres may be reused to produce newmaterials, while maintaining the same level of performance. It is used in the manufacture of fabrics or insulating materials.
