Grass fibre paper

Grass fibre paper
Pulp-based paper material that, in addition to virgin wood fibre and recycled paper, contains a variable percentage of grass fibres, from 30 to 50%. The composition varies according to the uses to which it is put. The grass comes mainly from uncultivated, otherwise unused compensation areas, which do not compromise animal feed production. It is used in the manufacture of food packaging, such as fruit, vegetables, eggs and milk, in the packaging of dry foods such as cereals, sweets and baked goods, or for cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
