Material made of a unique wood with fluvial origin, it is the result of a millennial underwater conservation.
This wood comes from eastern Europe and is processed in Italy.
The extraction of trunks from the river bed is manually performed by scuba divers. The trunk cutting requires precision to safeguard the integrity of the wood, the shades of colours and shapes of the veins. The dating of the trunk is made by isotopic analysis with the radiocarbon method: since 2,000 B.C. to 8,000 B.C.
It is used in production of furniture, objects, coatings and flooring.
