Material made from recycled silk, obtained from the waste of printed fabrics. The scraps are collected, mechanically garnetted and processed into very fine fibers. Next, the fibers undergo a bleaching process, with GOTS-approved substances, and finally are blended with PLA. It finds use in the manufacture of padding with insulating properties for clothing.
