Paper with denim scraps

Paper with denim scraps
Paper made from more than 50% pre and post-consumer recycled waste. 24% is obtained by recycling worn-out jeans that can no longer be sold. The production process involves sorting jeans at the end of their life, from which extraneous elements such as zippers, buttons, labels and synthetic yarns are removed. The remaining cloth is defibrated, cut and integrated into the papermaking process, blended with certified and recycled cellulose fibres. It finds use in the manufacture of papermaking products.
