Panel made of 60-90% local seaweeds, combined with 10-40% recycled wood and paper, from the residual flows from the processing industry and a natural binder that is extracted from the seaweed itself. The seaweed, after it’s dried is mixed with the natural binder in a clean chemical process, together with cellulosic fibres. If necessary, the plates are finished with a glossy coating. It is a material comparable to MDF or chipboard, can be used as a building material, for interior design products and acoustic wall panels.
