It took place on Friday 20 December in the press room of Montecitorio, Chamber of Deputies the meeting Design & Circularity: Tools for Business.
A very important event where Marco Capellini – CEO of Matrec, presented EUCLID, a new tool developed by Matrec and complementary to the already well-known CircularTool, with the aim of mentoring, support and culture for the circular design of products, as required by the EU Ecodesign Regulation (ESPR).
The participation in the meeting of authoritative speakers highlighted the need to support SMEs in paths that allow them to combine innovation and circularity. In particular, the EU legislative framework is characterised by a series of regulations, soon to come into force, which focus heavily on sustainable design.
This first meeting kicked off a work plan that will be developed throughout 2025, aimed at a series of events and projects specifically targeting Italian SMEs.
The meeting was attended by:
On. Fabio Porta – Member of Parliament
