The Salone Satellite has always been a springboard for young designers on an international level. A project conceived and curated by Marva Griffin, which every year offers innovative proposals and solutions for the world of design. This year’s theme is ‘Designing for our future selves – sustainability‘. Matrec was invited to select a series of circular materials that will be the subject of an exhibition in pavilion 1-3 of the Salone del Mobile. The selection focused mainly on material solutions with organic components that represent a valid opportunity for the design of circular products in the furniture sector. For Matrec, the Salone del Mobile will also be an opportunity to take part in talks and meetings on the design and measurement of circularity in furniture products.
