For Matrec, 2018 was been a successful year for research and services offered to its customers.
A year full of events and projects that have led Matrec to expand its specific activity on the circular economy. A year-end report shows that the overall archive of sustainable materials has been enriched with more than 120 new proposals, while the trend section has seen an overall selection of 534 news, 174 of which have been published. In addition to these numbers, there are trend reports and material applications for different types of products.
Research projects have focused mainly on the fashion, furniture, construction, packaging and vehicle sectors. New material solutions have been developed for the recovery and recycling of textiles, rubber, stone waste, leather, organic matter, cork and wood.
2019 will be a year of innovation in the circular economy with new proposals and services for companies.
“We are following the demands of companies very closely to find innovative and sustainable solutions for the development of new products for different product sectors. We are satisfied for the work done this year and for the close synergies with our customers that we guide and support from the beginning to the end of the project,” said Marco Capellini, CEO of Matrec.
