The press conference for the 20th anniversary of Matrec was held on 11 October at the Press Room of Montecitorio, Chamber of Deputies in Rome. Matrec has always been a national reference excellence for the research of circular materials and support to Made in Italy companies for the design of products that look towards circularity and sustainability. Twenty years characterised by projects and services at national and international level where creativity, innovation and vision have seen Matrec collaborate with leading companies, institutions, research centres, consortia and universities.
The event was an opportunity to tell about the results achieved and to present scenarios and objectives that Matrec proposes for the coming years. Precisely for the 20th anniversary, dedicated meetings will be organised on the topics of circular economy and product sustainability, which will see the participation of experts and representatives of companies from various sectors. In particular, the meetings will focus on aspects of measuring circularity and building models for companies in the furniture, fashion, food, packaging and service sectors. The press conference was also an opportunity to present the updated version of the CircularTool, a tool that more companies are using to measure the circularity of products.
