Over the past decade recycled paper and cardboard fibres have been the subject of numerous innovative interventions aimed at ennobling the material through applications covering multiple product categories. The development of new solutions shows how many of the potential is still untapped.
The aim of this publication is to present the new frontiers of recycled cellulose fibre through some of its most significant examples, result of an international research that led to the choice of fifteen materials, each of which shows different applications.
Color, texture, thickness, shape and technology are the elements that distinguish the proposed solutions for architectures, home environments, offices, leisure and shops.
The publication, curated by Matrec and sponsored by Comieco, aims to spread the culture of recycling and promote the recycled paper and cardboard fibres for the design and development of new environmentally sustainable products.
