The CIR-ME project, promoted by Gemstone under the Greenadopt program and funded by the EU, demonstrated the functionality of Matrec’s CircularTool as a winning strategy for companies in designing and measuring the circularity of materials, processes and products.
Taking the ESPR (Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation) as a reference, a meticulous selection of environmental KPIs was made for the adoption and implementation of the measurement model through the CircularTool with more than 32 KPIs.
Then the measurement model was applied to different types of products to evaluate the results and improvement actions. The final circularity report clearly highlighted the improvements achieved and the environmental benefits of the projects.
