The project, as part of a circular economy strategy, concerns the research of processes for the recycling of paints used in the wood furniture sector and subsequent use in new industrial and/or private sectors.
In addition to recycle of paints, design solutions have been developed for the best use of cans in order to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.
The results have highlighted new material solutions (from recycled paints) that can be used in industrial sectors.
The project, financed by Italian Ministry of the Environment as part of an environmental sustainability and circular economy programme for products and services, was developed by a group of companies and institutions such as: Matrec, Cosmob, ICA, University of Camerino, Federlegno Arredo.
