The project, promoted by the Italian Ministry of Environment and Protection of Land and Sea, ICE and IED Brasil, is aimed at the development of new products and services with less environmental impact for several Brazilian companies. Carbon Footprint, Social Footprint and selection of environmentally sustainable materials, are the methodologies used in the project. Matrec was been a technical support to companies and students in the best selection and choice of environmental materials. The results of this project have shown a high degree of eco-innovation in terms of materials and reduction of environmental impact.
