A project aimed to identify solutions for the recovery and transformation of textile waste composed of polyester, viscose and acrylic resin. The first part of the project was focused on the international mapping of already existing and viable solutions, while in a second phase experiments were conducted for the reuse of the material following processes of shredding and agglomeration with binders. The final solutions identified have demonstrated the possibility of reusing the material through rigid and laminable products, and through new semi-rigid fabrics.
