A Portuguese company produces bags and accessories in natural cork fabric, a biodegradable and circular material.
The production process involves several stages, initially the plant is stripped of its bark, a process that can be carried out every 7-10 years and that has no harmful effect on the plant. The bark is then disinfected and used to make blocks, which are cut into very thin layers thus creating durable, soft and high quality fabrics. In some collections you can find printed cork with decorative patterns to enhance aesthetic appearance of the product.
