Pirelli’s P ZERO™ Race is the first high-performance racing tyre for cycling made from FSC®-certified natural rubber.
Natural rubber, which is extracted from the Hevea brasiliensis tree, accounts for about 23 % of the tyre’s total weight.
The certification confirms that plantations are managed responsibly in order to preserve biological diversity and improve the lives of local communities and workers.
The presence of natural rubber gives the tyre more speed and grip on both dry and wet surfaces, thanks to
the new compound and the new patented structure, devised by Pirelli’s R&D department.
