Collection of furniture from the reuse of waste materials

Douglas & Company, an architecture and design firm based in South Africa, has created an out-of-the-box furniture collection using waste materials from other projects such as wood and foam.
The collection includes a sofa, a bench and a stool.
In particular, the foam components are made from pieces of scrap foam chipped and conglomerated .
The structure was made through the reuse of cross-laminated timber (CLT), a residual material from a construction project.
The geometric shapes that characterize the collection were made by stacking discs of wood and foam in layers.
