From bamboo chopsticks to household items

RENEW is a planet-first brand committed to the creative recycling of waste materials, the company handcrafts household items by recovering recycled bamboo sticks that would otherwise end up in landfills.
The number of chopsticks disposed of each week worldwide amounts to approximately 1.5 billion.
To counter the dispersion of this valuable resource, the company has partnered by setting up a new recovery chain, collecting chopsticks directly from restaurants.
Once recovered, the material is sorted, sanitised, pressed, polished and redesigned.
Every single product is made by the company from recycled materials, through sustainable production practices designed to increase energy efficiency and reduce waste.
For each new product made, the environmental impact is measured to help reduce waste, emissions and resources.
