Ikea has committed by 2030 that all its products respect the principles of circular economy, promoting their reuse, repair, resale and finally recycling. Step by step it has already implemented new ways of using and extending the useful life of products. In achieving this goal, it has announced that all items will be accompanied by a document containing instructions for disassembly, so as to reduce the risk of damaging the product, help its repair, resale and eventual transport. In addition, in the case of a product made up of different materials, the disassembly manual will allow the separation of these materials and the possibility of sending them for recycling.
