Called Briket, the new stool designed by Swiss designer Renaud Defrancesco centered around reusing wood waste and sawdust and free of chemical additives.
The structure sees the use of nine legs and the absence of metal components.
During the manufacturing process wood waste are compressed together with potato waste, a natural component produced in excess and wasted by the food industry.
The potato component acts as a natural binder, creating a material with consistent strength.
Its special shape, allows some legs to be detached and sent to incineration without compromising its function.
In fact, its shape is inspired by wood pellets used for heating, and at the end of its life Briket can be completely used as fuel in the fire for heating.
