Surfboards made entirely by hand, featuring an EPS foam inner base in which resin and fiberglass have been replaced by paulownia wood and cork.
Paulownia is the only naturally rot-resistant wood grown and cultivated in Europe, characterized by light weight and good mechanical strength, and cork is also naturally water-resistant.
The characteristics of these materials make them usable without the use of additional waterproof layers.
The paulownia sheets are cut, planed, sanded and vacuum bonded to the previously shaped EPS foam layer. The EPS is completely encased in the wood shell and is extremely strong.
