Pirelli in line with its path of sustainable natural rubber supply chain management, has decided to reduce its environmental impact by selecting input resources such as natural rubber and rayon from responsibly managed plantations, with the aim of preserving biological diversity and promoting the environmental, economic and social sustainability of local communities.
Pirelli’s new P ZERO tire was designed for the new BMW X5 XDrive45e Plug-In Hybrid, the second generation BMW X5 with electrified drive.
The BMW group, has committed to certify the CO2 emissions of the entire life cycle of the new car considering the raw materials, the supply chain, the production process, the use and the end of life.
