The Italian company Gruppo èkasa through its Italporte brand has developed a door with recycled and recyclable materials. The frame is made of aluminium, a recyclable material that retains its characteristics during the recycling process.
The inner panel of the door is made of recycled plastic waste and scrap. Depending on the finish, texture and colour, the type of waste is selected: Disposable cutlery, white caps, post-consumer plastic waste, fishing nets recovered from the seabed, plastic reels and post-consumer food containers.
