Recycled material composite for bike frame

Ossby GEO is the new folding electric bike whose design phase was characterized by extensive materials research to improve its environmental performance.
The frame is made of a biocomposite made from recycled fibers sourced from fiberglass wind turbine blades and a plant resin matrix.
This particular material composition allows extremely high strength, lightness and durability, requires less energy and resources during production, reducing its environmental impact.
During the manufacturing process, a 82% reduction in carbon footprintcompared to bicycles made of aluminum or titanium, since welds are eliminated, which imply high energy consumption, as well as highly polluting resins and chemical catalysts.
