Method, part of the SC Johnson group and a leading packaging manufacturer, has been committed to reducing the environmental impact of its products for years.
Thanks to the partnership between SC Johnson and Plastic Bank, all packaging made of transparent PET has been replaced by coastal plastic with a 100% circularity rate.
Recovered plastics are collected on land, within 31 miles from the coast, to prevent them from ending up in the ocean and presenting a high-impact end-of-life for the environment.
As a result of this partnership, more than 550 collection points have been set up in Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Brazil, which not only clean up the environment, but also provide a direct economic benefit to the local communities voluntarily engaged in collection.
