A Norwegian furniture company has created a limited edition of one of its most iconic office chairs, using locally collected post-consumer recycled plastic from snow plough markers that help locate the road. The circular material has been used for the realization of the seat and the back. The seat cushion was upholstered with a certified post-consumer recycled polyester fabric.
The R&D team’s mission was to identify a local recycled material that had already served its function in a previous life and was still capable, due to material characteristics, of being used in a second life.
