Sailboats made of recyclable flax fiber

An Italian start-up company, specialized in the nautical sector, has committed itself to providing an alternative solution to fiberglass for the construction of sailboats, with the aim of offering a circular material that can reduce the impact on the environment and that can be recycled at the end of its life.
In order to meet these requirements, bio-based fibers such as flax were used to make the composite, in combination with a special resin that allows the separation of the different materials favoring their recyclability.
