Shop fittings using hemp and bulrush

A London design studio has created the interior of a personal care shop, characterising it through the use of renewable materials in the furnishings.
The shelves are in fact made of local bulrush, an invasive plant found in rivers and lakes. Once harvested, it is air-dried, sun-bleached and then woven by hand.
Additional displays are made of hemp, from locally grown crops, pressed with bio-resin.
