Fiat introduces the new Grande Panda, offering customers the opportunity to choose a more environmentally sustainable and ethical mobility solution through the use of recycled and innovative materials in its production.
The interior, such as the door panels, dashboard and center tunnel, are made of post-consumer recycled plastic derived from beverage packaging.
Each Grande Panda contains recycled material from 140 laminated beverage cartons, from which Fiat extracts the percentage of plastic and aluminum to create the blue plastic parts of the interior, called Lapolen Ecotek. The result of this process is visible through a shimmering effect generated by the aluminum in the blue plastic details.
The dashboard features “BAMBOX Bamboo Fiber Tex®,” a fabric cover made of up to 30% bamboo fibers.
