The 2020 Olympics to be hosted in Tokyo will feature for the first time a podium made from recycled plastic to promote a sustainable model of society.
Through a specific project, the general public has been involved in the collection of waste to be reused for the construction of the platform.
Designer Tokolo Asao designed the podium with geometric and three-dimensional patterns obtained through 3D printing technology.
