Vodafone is committed to helping reduce e-waste by promoting a new product lifecycle management programme. In partnership with Recommerce, a refurbishment platform founded in 2009, Vodafone is offering a new range of services including rapid repair, insurance, flexible trade-in through the use of an app to facilitate trade-ins, product refurbishment and large-scale sales of high-quality used phones.
Vodafone’s aim is to support the electronics market towards a circular economy model focused on resource efficiency, extending the life cycle of devices and reducing waste.
